Hello there I have a question about my Baofeng uv-5r radio
I was wondering if I could program HF frequencies into it or not?

There is software available that will allow you to enter any frequency you desire from 001 to 999 MHz. The operative word being 'enter'.
Will it show in the display? Absolutely
Will it actually work on these frequencies? No

I have a Baofeng GT3-TP. Pretty much same as UV-5R. I can barely enter anything lower than 120MHz. The frequency range on most Baofengs are:
VHF: 130-174MHz
UHF: 400-520MHz
Trying to modify this frequency range messes with the radios RX/TX as I experienced first hand.
