FRV Testing on EAS CH1

Post by Boort8720 »

Afternoon all,

I have noticed that FRV Ops Comms have been testing the pager circuits for each CFA Integrated station before the changeover on July 1.

I couldn't help but notice that Hoppers Crossing has not been allocated a Fire Station number. Does anyone have any idea what this means? The only two explanations that come to my mind are the brigade is being shut down or becoming volunteer only. Neither seem very realistic.

Thanks for your help!

Regards,
Mitch Baker - VK3GLV

Hoppers Crossing fire station has been replaced by the new Tarneit fire station.
Tarneit is FRV Station 57. Tarneit pumper will become Pumper 57.

To clarify my previous post, Tarneit is a career firefighters only.
Hoppers Crossing is remaining as a CFA volunteer only station.

Thanks X-Firey,

I guess I was in the ball park then. I guess it is a similar setup to Eltham and Eltham City then. Thanks for that!
