Technically channel 67 is North Stradbroke Island, not Russel Island.
No biggy just being technical.

Depends on what you mean by 'Technically'.
While it is physically located on North Stradbroke Island, it is my understanding that it was installed to improve coverage of Russell, Macleay, and the other Bay Islands. However, I could be wrong.
There is another QAS Repeater on North Stradbroke Island, only about 11 Km away, at Point Lookout.
