Hey mate.

I will be hoping to apply to become a police recruit in the near future. I have a Diploma of Business, which meets the requirements, but for my own benefit and personal reasons, I have just started the Justice Administration course aswell. Near the end of that course I will look at getting fitter.

I work for the QLD Government in the meantime.

Let me know if you want to chat about it.

Good Luck

I'm looking for someone to do the Senior First Aid on the Northside as well, I'll let you know if I turn anything up!

Due to the Shift roster I work, the only time I've been able to do Cardio training lately has been in the middle of the day, and it seems to have helped my Stamina quite a bit - Although it's a sweaty tiring affair!

If your applying be prepaired to wait the integrity checking (the older you get the longer it takes) is a at least 3 months (this is before you even get a interview.) average wait time at the moment 6 months- 1 year

I have been thinking about applying for a while but the education side holds me back. I have been working 8 years with 6 of them full time and I'm a tradesmen but thats only a cert III. Some times I think they need some more ''working class'' men in the force. I'm not having a go at educated people here but most of the tertiary educated people and a lot of the cops I know are a bit soft.

Clearly u must hang in different circles if the graduates from uni are "soft"

Gee I know some "soft" traddies

Dont think that education had anything to do with the "softness" of people. More a personality than anything
