Anyone help?

There are a couple of Capcodes that people have listed as QFRS, but because I have seen them getting messages from, or about, both the QAS and QFRS, I suspect that they are actually Department of Emergency Services (DES). Maybe just Media Liaison, but possiby higher up,
such as a Crisis Management area.

Hmmm looked through my logs I have 5275 hits on that capcode in the 9 or so months, the interesting thing is that 99% of them are traffic accident msgs.

Still not sure who it is, or why ?
I just checked I have 2380 hits since the 14/04/09
Also it covers most from around Maryborough to the southern boarder, anyone have any more clues ?

no they dont have out pagers or noone to dispatch them maybe its just the supervisors pagers

what about a pager that is located in the Comms room to alert the supervisor of certian jobs.

I thought maybe that but it's not only emergency services information. About schools and various other things also.

And what comms room? Both QAS and QFRS use it.

Exactly. And it seems to cover at least three or four Regions, and I don't know of any Emergency Services comms room that covers more than one Region.

Also, I think the 'school' page is a bit of a 'red herring', so best to ignore it.

I have 0394827 as the Teacher Sickie pager. The above message is the only Teacher Sickie one I have seen on 0411684.

The possibility is that the holder of pager 0411684 has a child at a Special School, and needed to be advised that the teacher would not be available, so that other arrangements could be made for the child. As I said in an earleir post, a bit of a 'red herring'.

Done a search on with the capcode 0411684 and that, message came up, Calamvale seems to be a text that is also being filtered as well as cycle
