Bonjour & Help with Motorola XTS 5000

Post by ulpaperboy »

Hi Everyone,

Greetings and salutations from Gold Coast, QLD!

I was wondering if any of you had a PDF insturction manual for the Motorola XTS 5000. I have absolutely no idea how to use one of these, and I'm keen to getting it up and running! Any help is valued.

Merci bien,
-Edward =)

Hi there,

If it is not programmed then you will need programming software and the cable (or someone that does) to program the channels into this radio, it is not keypad programmable.

Regarding the user manual http://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&rct=j ... nOJu1INDQQ

Hi Shane,

Thanks for your reply.

It's a Model III with FPP enabled on it. So in terms of programming channels/frequencies into the radio, can this be done without the computer and on-the-go?

Cheers,
-Edward
