Re: CB REPEATERS
I know this is a little unrelated, but are there any of the newer channels that are allocated for repeater use actually being used? TBH I don't even listen to UHF CB anymore so would not know.Radio_Australia wrote:Scan the uhf cb band or try to transmit on uhf cb ch 1-9

Re: CB REPEATERS
From memory the repeater channels from 1-8 (31-38) were permitted to continue to operate at 25khz spacing for a number of years after the change to narrowband. Don't quote me, but it may be until 2016 or 2017 - maybe later, the info will be out there if you do need an exact date. Either way, once 1-8 (31-38) switch to 12.5khz spacing then channels 41-48 (71-78) will be available for use as repeaters.michael wrote:I know this is a little unrelated, but are there any of the newer channels that are allocated for repeater use actually being used? Re: CB REPEATERS
There is a Cb repeater at Point Lookout Ebor which i have keyed up from a high spot in Port Macquarie some years ago. It effectively covered most of the area between Port Macquarie and Grafton.
