Looks really good with the antenna's on the ute, very nice :)
Im looking at getting one of those PRM80's aswell for UHF they seem like a pretty decent radio.

Theres heaps around at the moment too. The PRM80's were in all BCC fleet, now they have changed to the TETRA/ZEON Network they got rid of the lot.

It wasn't all that long ago I saw they still had one of these getting around here in Rockhampton. I thought they might have been getting a bit old by now for and ambo.

Look closely on the dash , there is one hidden , just out of the pic

not that i deed it , i tend to use commercial radios , set up to RX only , better quality sound , particularly on VHF freq

yeah no real problems ,,, i spoke to my auto elec about it , ,,, the ute still has the spot for the second battery , from its former life as an ambulance , so i was going to have a second one installed just for the radio gear etc ,,

as most of the radios are drawing minimal current the draw is not that much , although i do have to change alternators every 18 months , and have a pretty heavy battery ,

its strains it a bit , if they are all left on for long periods of time , with out having the motor running ,

i have also included /installed a heavy duty power cable and distribution set up since these were taken ,

when i get a chance , i will take some updated shots and post them up it has been changed around quiet a bit ,,,
