Hi all, gonna be buying a UNIDEN BC796D for my car what would be the best antenna for this ???

Everybody asks what the best antenna would be. I use an old police whip tuned for 77mhz. It works fine for the broad frequencies I listen to. I had a Dick Smith wideband scanner antenna (can't remember the brand) it worked marginally better. If you are going to listen to police, fire etc (qld) then a uhf cb antenna will be fine. Basically anything you stick on the car should work ok.
