Sunshine Coast QAS and QFRS Capcodes wanted.

Hi all,

I am chasing a list of QAS and QFRS Pager capcodes for the Sunshine Coast ( North Coast). If anybody has a list and would like to either post it up or pm it to me it would be greatly appreciated.

I am just starting with PDW and was wondering what key words you would suggest I look for if I am wanting to catch all the QFES messages. As I have not seen a QFES page I am not sure what to expect.

At present I am looking for FIRECOM, FIRECALL as well as a few nearby appliances like 473A, 473B, 474A, 474B ect.

Also judging by the previous posts in the thread I am guessing that QFES cap codes are not constant and subject to change?

QLD-Bob - do you currently have your system up and running decoding messages?

If so, you are well on your way to create your own and up to date capcode list.... This thread was over 2 years old when you reopened it.

Once you start generating your newly up to date list, feel free to share it with others.

No, im still messing about with it, but i do have two pc programable POCSAG pagers that hold 8 codes each.

The local pager Tx tower only puts out 25w so im waiting on a better antenna to get it working. Also its all completely trial and error trying to figure out pdw/audio pipeline/usb tv card.

Im new to pager decoding, only started looking into it recently when the local emergency services went to a digital P25 encrypted GWN.

Heads up to anyone who wants to know. QFES are now including info with pager messages. No more HUT: FIRECALL.
