Did you find any?

As for Trunking Phil, we don't have any down here to the best of my knowledge.

What do you mean? NO Trunking, or NO Towies on Trunking.
There is TETRA and MPT1327 Trunking all around you.

i kinda have to agree with comint on that, although there are no Motorola Type 2 Systems there is Telstra Fleetcom (MPT 1327) Biscom VHF and UHF (MPT 1327), Motorola Zeon (Tetra) which is managed by Motorola Solutions and i am sure there is a LTR system in robina just need to confirm it.

I thought the only trunking on the Gold Coast was the 800 (not up on technical terms) off the peninsula building whichs is no longer being used I thought

there will still be trunking in the area, Biscom run in the 160MHz band aswell as 410 - 420 Mhz, telstra fleetcom is in the 410 - 420 band, Vertel operate a MPT system in that band aswell. there will no doubt be a trunking system possibly LTR at the Casino in broadbeach, as well as Vertel running LTR and possibly Skilled Stadium

The 800 MHz is still on the Peninsula Building, except it is now used for TETRA.
