This may be a dumb question but the locations next to the freqs are where the repeaters are yes? I'm adding the voting groups to my book and resetting my scanner. Thanks for providing us with the info mate

There are many sites around explaining how repeaters work this is just one of them.

yeh sorry it just means that you will be able to pick the strongest repeater for your area and be able to listen to the same thing. as for Alinco's link that is very handy plus the QFRS, and QAS use Voting which allows the users radio to pick the strongest signal so they are able to talk to Comms

Thanks Paul,

Yeah I listen to the Ipswich group from the Mt Glorious channel, in some areas the comms are shocking, hopefully one less blackspot area solved...

Also on the listing was a 464.xxx freq. There are a number of these listed in the SE, but I have never monitored anything on them. Are they even in the SE radios? I know they use them up far north in some areas ( I suspect for x band portable use), so tend to think they are just 'parked' in the SE in case they are needed for expansion?

464.4750 / 454.9750 is a QFRS frequency.
