large grassfire leyburn

there was a large fast moving grass fire at leyburn today(12/8/12) 31 qfrs vehicles attended with approx 1000 ha burnt attaing flame heights of ten meters....
Yeh - saw the info pass by my computer...
Glad to see it has been pretty much put out - monitoring from now on.
Hope it is not a sign of the things to come this season.
