Unknown Signal on 463.475MHz

Post by tanger32au »

Recently I have changed over aerials and mounted this much higher off the ground, the result of this is that I am now getting a signal on 463.475MHz which I have never heard before.

Link to ACMA database details for this: http://web.acma.gov.au/pls/radcom/assig ... ID=1123696

Below is a link to a video I have recorded of this.

Any ideas what it is?

Being a weather station my guess it is data.

Sounds like Scada.

Could be anything ranging from turning pumps on/off, weather stations or gate control. Many different uses especially in the rural environment.
Informations or commands simply sent via radio rather than via wire.
