FYI

Mackay police can be heard on

468.75 & 468.325

Aswell as 468.0125, 468.0 and 468.175

Hope this helps for our nothern brothers.

A bit OT, but as you're in the area, it might be worth checking out the following MPT1327 frequecies, to see if they are still being used.

Biscom frequencies on The Black Mountain (about 13 Km NNE of Mackay CBD)
166.8375
166.9875
167.1373
167.2875
167.4375

Telstra Fleetcoms on Mt Oscar (Mackay northern suburbs)
416.0750
416.5750
417.0750

416.3250
416.8250

There should be a continuous data stream on one of the frequencies in each group, if the Sites are still in use.

Sorry, back home now. Will be back up north some tim soon and will try and remember to check on those freqs

Hope the ones supplied help out for those traveling that way

Im hearing a data stream from 416.0750 (telstra Fleetcoms) but as for the Biscom frequencies I cant hear any data streams from any of those frequencies... Hope this helps

G'day all,i am new to this,bit of assistance be nice thanks,how do i find Mackay police re scanner,current display says,,,top 400.375,below that is 468.175 any help appreciated thank you B

It would help if you included the Brand Name and Model Number of the scanner you want assistance with.

Hi its a Baofeng uv-5r was working great,all i can thing is they may have changed channels Like i said I am new to this,thank you

The Baofeng is not a scanner. Word of caution - be careful with that unit as if you don't know what you are programming - it could land you in trouble if you inadvertently TX on a frequency that you are not licensed on

Thank you for the info,yeah it was flogged to me as a scanner,i use it on my Mobility Scooter ie: if there is a prang that way,i go the opposite etc,so it was useful for me~
