Taxi/Train/Bus Line Frequencies?

Post by Mpluso »

HI all,

I've just purchased a Uniden UBCD536-PT and am wondering if there are any known frequencies for Taxi/Train/Bus Lines?

I live in the Berwick area.

Cheers!

Do you have the DMR upgrade for your 536PT?
If so you will find a lot of bus company activity on the Orion networks...
Also do a search of the UHF bands for taxi companies. Many still use analogue for voice communications.
It may be worth having a look at the ACMA database also.

Rail mainly uses non scannerable GSM-R and 3G/4G technology as well as satellite systems.

Low power repeaters and simplex is used in yards and depots.
