Hey fellas,

Got a few antennas that I wanna sell as I no longer use CB, only Amateur bands and these are too short for 70cm...

are they really 6.6dB??!!! I thought they were 4.5's

according to GME they are however i have been looking around and everyone says they are only 4.5 i am tending to lean more to the manufacturer tho

Eger to sell that white stick... a bit worse for wear cosmetically but otherwise working A+

Also got that 4.5dB whip still for sale...

and a super lightweight 9 element beam but needs new coax and new balun on the driven element....

dB and dBi are slightly different...

I THINK this is the case... the antennas are 4.5dB / 6.6dBi... Unity Gain (0dB) is 2.1dBi...

6.6dBi - 2.1dBi = 4.5dB

I just stumbled across that looking on their GME website, they have everything in dBi and then I spotted that their unity gain antennas were 2.1dBi and the penny dropped..

Still got that white stick and a 4.5dB whip...

I think I figured out why we had such a problem with the white stick, it looks like it's been taken apart and someones 'fixed' it themselves... probably why it was just given to me in the first place... I was about to go out now and put the white stick up on the 'tower'...
