18 is stand alone special ops for indy and schoolies.
100 (razorback lookout) and 23 (burleigh hill) will also be part of gold coast south

Are you sure 104 is north? It was stand alone for some time; if anything I'd have thought it would move to south..
Currently have: Simoco SRM9000 (TU), Yaesu FT65, GME XRS370, GME TX6155 x 2, Icom IC400 Pro x 2, Icom IC41 Pro x 3

yep Surfers use 18 every weekend due to amount of beat units on very normal
events also used on this at surfers

469.150 is used in Nerang area from the old Coca Cola hill (Gavin blackspot) to Carrara roughly but is linked in

I have been listening to 469.0125 from my location. It's the only one I can get well. I can hear 469.275 & 469.115 as well but not very well I have a bloody big mountain in the way (Mt Tamborine)

Just curious what this means. So from southport north will be on a separate radio channel as from surfers south with their own radio operators/dispatchers? I thought coomera, nerang, mudgeeraba where going back to Gold Coast district so shouldn't they be golf and not Charlie call signs?

Yep it means just that a big line from Sundale bridge and around the river i still dont know where the line is
but Coomeras now got Southport,Runaway Bay

Coomera had a busy nigh last night t in Southport for at least 3 Southport jobs due to crews tried up even had Nerang at Southport just like old times knew it would happen once they included Southport back in. guess it frees up Surfers to do its own things also noting getting a van crew from surfers to help out at Southport means calling on different channel and getting that unit to change over to North channel.

Be intersting to see how long it will last to me not making much sense in way of support and locations
He we even get a Lima unit now on Gold Coast North it belongs to Jacobs Well so yep quite a mix of call signs from the Golf (old Southern District) Charlie (Ex Coomera District) Lima (logan) due to the changes made by QPS

Just unbelievable listening to the Logan and Gold Coast North feeds the hotchpotch of callsigns they have now - "Lima"and "Charlie" on the Logan channel and "Lima", "Charlie" and "Golf" on the Gold Coast channel. I would have thought they would have rearranged them before Monday and just had "Lima" callsigns on Logan and "Golf" callsigns on the Gold Coast.

When Lima 802 (Jacobs Well) and Lima 804 (Norfolk Village) call up without the Lima the operator asks them if they are Lima 802/4, Charlie 802/4 or Golf 802/4 and I've even heard them answer that they are not sure themselves!

Does anyone know if this is going to get sorted?

Cheers.

Grunter1.

You want to hope they dont call urgent and forgot the first letter they are in trouble
i agree before the change over happened the first thing they should have sorted out is the radio comms
as you said Grunter1 it is a whole mix of fun the Tambo units are still under Charlie on Logan channel
guess we will want and see what happens

The cad system needs two letters and three numbers for a callsign to work. Hence, they are 'known as' Polair 1, but their actual c/s is GC700

How do the Media and Rescue helicopters go under the new system. They used to have D5xx callsigns.

Channel 7 is BD507, channel 9 is BD509 and channel 10 is BD510 (Bravo is never said because they all start with it)

That being said, they don't seem to use the radio very often...
