FULL BAND DISCONE SCANNER ANTENNA

Post by Patchfinder12 »

Hi, I am looking to buy an antenna for my Uniden home base scanner, what the experts think about the full band Discone scanner antenna for home base station 25-1300MHz mod. SO239? Is it a good antenna? because they are not cheap I would like to know if there is something better on the market.
Cheers

Hi chrisco, I would like to listen everything is possible Aviation, Marine, Tracks, Ham Radio etc.

I just want to know if that antenna is good enough for the price ( RRP $199 ) and if there is something else on the market that can do a better job.
Cheers

Typically, a discone is a great choice as what you are wanting to listen to are from wide and various bands.
I use one and find it good.
