Hi All,
I'm a scanner hobbyist from the late 90's and I am getting back into the hobby after a move from Melbourne to Canberra. I got into scanning with my dad who was into listening to the railway operations in Melbourrne. I'm in the process of researching for a new scanner, very interested in the Whistler units. I have done a little decoding of things on and off over the years, things seem to have changed alot from what I have been reading up on. Just about to finish putting a stored discone antenna up and see what I can hear.
Looking forward to chatting with likeminded listeners
Cheers,

Hi CBR_receiver,
Look forward to reading about any results and your opinion on how things may have changed from your previous experiences in the hobby.
Best of luck.
