I have the Uniden software CD.
I will pay by money order or bank Xfer for one that just plugs into my scanner and the PC.
Cheers

Read my posts here, and here, from the last time you raised this matter.AIRMAN wrote:I am after a serial cable which connects a Uniden UBCT9 to a PC complete with the necessary connectors. I do not have the skills/knowledge to make my own and I have given up trying to find anyone local who sells them. Yes I know they may have them on eBay, but I wouldn't know which one to choose and end up getting the wrong one![]()

Wow! You must have a strange set-up. I have only ever seen one Computer with a Female connector for the Serial Port, and that was back in the early 80's, and it was a DB25.AIRMAN wrote: I require both connectors to be MALE as the sockets on the scanner and on the CPU are female.
The plot thickens. Thats a DB25, and Female DB25s are usually Printer Ports (Parallel).AIRMAN wrote:OK here's the photo's!
PIC#1 shows the Magenta colored 25 pin socket on the back of my PC
All the posts that I have seen, indicate that Uniden's UASD software does NOT work with USB to RS-232 adapters.Rohan wrote:i think you can get one thats seral to usb but u have to be carefull to get the right software to go with it other wise they dont work my old boss used one on his digital multy meter
What "USB version" are you talking about?Stretch wrote:When I tried the USB version to control the scanner via the computer it didnt work. Had to get the one with pins in both ends.
