which will mean 518i will get more work out that way with no aerial in Ipswich. No doubt Logan will benefit from a closer aerial aswell.

502J has been going to Chermside for the last few years so I wouldn't hold your breath particularly now a cost cutting government has ridden into town. There are some old trucks getting around out there that are going to have to do a few more years than they originally wanted them to. The roll-out of several more aerials in Brisbane wont happen until the current Juliets expire and go to the great big ladder heaven in the sky. IMHO.

Drove past Wishart station this arvo around 3pm and took attached photo (apologies for quality)
Drove past again around 30 minutes later and boom was extended on TAP and numerous firies gathered around....training session..??

Yeah training at 17 and 16 as Juliets are about to transfer from Ipswich and Roma St. 526A Scania went to Ipswich as a swap for Ipswich's Juliet.
Atego at 26 now. 502J replaced by an atego will be 502B. In the final stages of aerial training.

So what will they do with 517A will that go to 2 Station and who gets to tell them that they are getting a TAP.

Juliets and kilos at 16 and 17. Scania and Atego at 2. alphas from 16 and 17.....no idea where they are going but both were old trucks so probably used as spares or training at Whyte island. Also 28 about to receive their new kilo also no date yet but soon (before xmas).

Just to clarify the movements with 2, 16, and 28 are imminent I don't know the timing of 17's movements.

Training either complete or near complete and will be any day. But this is QFRS time so anytime before the end of 2013 is a possibility.

Righto, that would explain why there has been a juliet floating around the station on and off for about a month now and today I've heard the callsign 502B a few times.

Possibly but 502B is used anytime Juliet is off the run. When u see Juliet pulling out of 16 under lights and siren then you could assume its arrived.

Update on 528K, as expected it is delayed till the new year but has been promised to be delivered jan or feb. The next problem will be what to do with 528V cause it wont fit in the engine bay when the new kilo arrives.

517J to begin operating thurs 20/12.
Word is Burpengary 31STN to also get a TAP.
New Scania just arrived at 26STN. - Fleet 1204.

So will we get the one from 2 Station(502J) or the one from 45 Station and does that mean 16 Station will not get one now. Caint wait for it and it will be good having a aerial this way.

The juliet going to 17 is fleet 291(not from roma st) and is starting Thursday if everything goes as planned. 16 still getting a Juliet (fleet 293 from 2 STN) shouldn't be too far away then next in line to get one is 31. They have been refurbed and set up almost like a pumper with a few exceptions.
