Re: QAS Info/Codes
I never hear them use the signals on the 412 and 413, are they CAD based? Because for patient deceased generally all I hear them say is patient negative, and with QPS require assistance I just hear QPS need assistance with patient etc...

these are voice codes we actually dont use them like we are supposed to except the sig 11/12/13/14 -
Say a Crew has a neg pt. they are meant to say pt Sig 4 we req. Sig 2

I believe there is one between every radio channel, or something along those lines.

Re: QAS Info/Codes
haha ok
CDS - CLINCIAL DEPLOYMENT SUPERVISOR - is an ICP(intesive care paramedic) whose job it is to review almost every case that is of interest or has been bought to his attn by a call taker to review its priority or wether an ICP pod car should be attached to the job
1A's automatically get ICP's attached code 1
anything less is reviewed by CDS to have one attached and what code they should respond.
ROC - Regional Operations Co-ordinators - the rocs roll is basically to over-see operational issues through the day - broken down cars/crews who arent fed anything to do with operations including moving vehicle/paramedics to other stations before their shift starts for area coverage
anything else?

Re: QAS Info/Codes
nah two completely seperate roles - infact when the CDS came in the ROC went to a 24/7 shift because the CDS didnt wanna handle the ROCs stuff
