Surplus to my needs is a Nevada model MS-1000 scanner in very good condition. Few scuff marks on the top cover but not very noticeable. Checked with a signal generator over its frequency range and all operational.
I don’t know that many of these if any reached our shores, as they were sold by Nevada Communications in the U.K. and manufactured by AOR I believe, programming said to be the same or similar to the AR2000.
Coverage is 500kHz – 600MHz and 800MHz – 1300MHz, AM FM (narrow) and WFM (Wide). No, not capable of digital modes.
1000 memories in 10 banks of 100 channels.
Size: Wide 120mm (yes, it looks bigger than it is) Height 50mm and Depth 203mm.
For power it uses a DC plug with a 2.1mm internal diameter e.g. Jaycar PP0510
Original manual included. I have a scan here but too large to attach to this ad (5mb). If you'd like it emailed drop me a PM.
